| Quatre (V.103-3) A work for 4 solo trumpets, suitable for college performers. The last of the set of brass chamber music I wrote for various people at the Moscow Conservatory, this piece was inspired by a work I witnessed in Saratov two years earlier for wind ensemble and 3 solo trumpets. It's a great addition to any brass concert. Other works in this collection include Chit-Chat for trombone and tuba, and the Duo-Fanfare for 2 trumpets. |
