Last Minute (V.101-1)
from Second Glances
More than anything do we remember the last minute we spend with
someone, even (and especially) if things do not go as we had hoped.
Perhaps we blurted out some incoherent gibberish...given the time, we’d
say the same thing in a different way. After all, within the gibberish
was a core of meaning, we’d just like to make it more eloquent.
Last Minute uses a serial
row as the basis for the opening bebop-esque explosion; this is
followed by a ballad like melody comprised of the same notes, with one
sequence and the order of the final notes switched.
