| Two Quintets (V.67) A set of two unrelated quintets: l'Entrada is a brass quintet ideal for intermediate to advanced ensembles. A quasi homage to the immortal works of Gabrieli, the quintet is mostly tonal, with a modal transition to a fugato section which leads back to a recap of the opening statement for a stately finish. Snapshot is a lyrical solo for fluegelhorn with support from a saxophone quartet. |
