| Autumn (V.20) Originally scored as a piece to be performed only on a MIDI instrument, on the advice of a harpist friend of mine I rewrote Autumn to be playable on an acoustic harp as a concert solo. Autumn was the first piece I composed upon reaching university in Fall 2001. I was walking through the changing leaves of an Autumn day, and I stopped to watch the people, as they huddled to resist the forces of nature, but nevertheless remained held bound by them. There was an inherent peace and beauty to this observation.
