| St. John Passion (V.130) A chanted setting suitable for Good Friday Services. Utilzing the current edition of the Roman Missal's English translation by ICEL, this setting uses simple melodic formulas to allow all to take part in the proclamation of the gospel on this sacred day. With clearly identified parts for the roles of Narrator (evangelist), Jesus (Christus), and the Voice (various characters), this setting provides easy to follow melodies even non-musicians would be comfortable singing. The turba choruses, are written for SATB choir, and may be printed separately (melody line or SATB) for the congregation. Package includes 5 copies of the score and the turba choruses separately in SATB and solo melody formats. |
