Salve Regina (V.118-12) Hymn for the Feast of the Assumption Salve Regina is set here for choir
with flute and organ accompaniment. Harmony is
created by certain melody notes being sustained as the main melody
continues, making the creation of harmony simple even for the most
basic choir. It is scored for up to 6 part choir, but may also be sung
by any size group, including solo. The instruments are likewise
optional, allowing for a variety of performance possibilities and ease
of use by any size forces.
Ritual Chants are a collection of liturgical chants re-cast in a modern idiom, for use in church services or in concerts. Most are for specific services, while some are for general use. They are designed to be as practical as possible, thus allowing their performance by ensembles of wide ranging composition, ability level, and aesthetic direction (as is typical in today's church music ministries). Their intent is to embue the ancient chants with new vitality, and make them more engaging and accessible to modern ears. click here to view all 20 chants.
