| Untitled (So Far) (V.101-3) from Second Glances In keeping with the overall purpose of Second Glances, Untitled (So Far) explores the harmonic world of the octotonic scale, when the obvious dimished chords are avoided. A sweet, pensive melody floats above chords which are here determined by a tonal scale, here by an octotonic. In the ensuing open solo sections the two otherwise conflicting harmonic worlds reconcile. |
